Rasmala GCC Fixed Income Fund Performance Exceeds Expectations

Rasmala Investment Bank today announced that its GCC Fixed Income Fund, launched March 31 2009, has achieved impressive returns after only six months since its launch, returning 25% to investors.
“We are delighted with the Fund’s outstanding performance to date, and continue to be positive about the future returns of the GCC fixed income and Sukuk markets,” comments Eric Swats, Head of Asset Management, Rasmala. “We fully expect that the GCC fixed income and Sukuk markets will continue to develop, and that they will grow into an important sector of the global fixed income market.”
The Rasmala GCC Fixed Income Fund was launched on March 31 2009, and invests in a diversified portfolio of GCC bonds and sukuks across different countries by issuer, coupon and maturity. The Fund focuses on investment grade credits which are currently providing very attractive yields to investors.
