Zaid comes to Rasmala from PwC where he was a Partner focusing on Corporate Finance and Business Recovery Services.

Following that, Zaid joined a UAE based publically listed real estate company, as the Chief Financial Officer where he led the development and implementation of its strategy, and was instrumental in restructuring its internal operations, adding more than US$2 billion of debt to its capital structure, and promoting its business inside and outside the UAE through extensive road shows that attracted foreign institutional shareholders and helped diversify the company’s shareholders base. Following the Global Financial Crisis, Zaid led the effort to restructure more than US$1 billion of that company’s debt.
