As part of its continuous efforts to support investment professionals in the region, Rasmala Investments, a company focused on Asset Management and Investment Banking, worked closely with CFA Emirates to organize this year’s regional meeting for Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA’s) of Europe, Africa and the Middle East which took place in Dubai on January 26th, making it the first regional meeting ever to be held outside of Europe.
The CFA Institute was founded back in the 1930’s with the mission to lead the investment profession globally by setting the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence. The CFA members are investment professionals who are dedicated to meeting the highest standards for ethical behaviour, education and ongoing professional development, and excellence of practice in the profession.
“This conference brought investments professionals representing each of their countries from Europe, Africa and the Middle East to Dubai to discuss current issues facing investment professionals.” said Tamer Bazzari, Chairman of CFA Emirates and Partner at Rasmala Investments.
”We are proud to host this event which is held for the first time outside Europe. CFA Emirates’ bid to host the event in Dubai reflects the international importance of the city as an international financial centre” added Bazzari.
